WorkSafeBC printed products, videos, DVDs, CDs, and material on WorkSafeBCstore.com are covered by the provisions of the Copyright Act, by Canadian laws, policies, regulations, and international agreements. Digital copies of media purchased from and downloaded through WorkSafeBC can be copied and transferred to electronic devices for distribution, provided such use is for educational purposes only.

Submissions

You acknowledge that any submissions, information, materials, suggestions or ideas provided to the Web Site (collectively the "Submission") become the property of WorkSafeBC, including all copyright, without reservation, and you waive in favour of WorkSafeBC any and all moral rights in such Submission. You acknowledge and agree that all or any portion of the Submission may be used, edited, reproduced, published, translated, sublicensed, copied and distributed and/or incorporated into other works in any form, media, or technology for the full term of any copyright that may exist in such Submission, without compensation of any kind to you. Paying by Credit Card

Warning: Please note that while WorkSafeBC is an organization located in British Columbia, Canada the credit card transaction may be processed outside Canada.  By providing any of your personal information including credit card details you are hereby consenting to your personal information being stored outside Canada.

Returns

All authorized returns will be subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price of each product to be returned. The original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All tax will be automatically calculated and refunded based on the amount of the return. Refunds will be credited to the credit card that was used at the time of the initial order. Once the WorkSafeBC Store receives the returned merchandise, please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions will be governed and be interpreted pursuant to the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, notwithstanding any principles of conflicts of law. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in British Columbia in all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions and the use of the Web Site.

General

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.
